Every member of the Nightstalkers is first and foremost a rifleman. Before any other skill or position is measured he must first be counted as competent with his rifle and able to execute the role that goes with that.
Teamwork is impossible without respect. Respect of others. Respect for the time they're sacrificing to be here. Respect for the dignity of others. No member should ever feel devalued as a person or as a player. Simply, act with regards to others as you'd expect them to act towards you.
There is no greater sign of disrespect to the group than to not show up. People are spending their time to be here and it's not just to run around alone in a server. Without a full commitment from everyone then the individual suffers along with the group. Being here is the most basic principle of participation. If you can't be here then you can't be a Nightstalker.
Respect and maturity go hand in hand. To be a member of this community is to agree to conduct yourself with maturity. We don't care if you're under 18 or you're over 30. It's been our experience that age can mean very little as far as maturity goes. If you are given a place among us you will be held to a standard of maturity as if this were real life. We don't believe that just because this is the internet and you can't see the faces of the people you're playing with that there is any excuse to behave with less maturity than anyone would expect of you in any real life activity or group.
The Nightstalkers strive to be more than just an assembly of like minded individuals. We strive to be an exceptional assembly of committed team players who play Arma 3 at a high level. This means smart tactics, ranks and roles with a high demand for performance and achievement, and a personal commitment to improving the experience for others as you experience it yourself. With that said commitment to learning and improving yourself is more than suggested, its expected. Every ounce of effort put in will be rewarded with encouragement and training to achieve both what we expect of you and what you seek to do for yourself.
Everyone is a leader, no matter his position. Even the lowliest grunt leads by his example. Bad behavior leads the wrong way. Calm and patience and good humor leads the right way. It doesn't take a bar on your helmet to be a leader. It is impossible to be in a unit like this for very long without having to lead in some way. Leadership isn't exclusive to officers or NCOs. It is a trait of every person working to promote Teamwork.
